Riga has three methods of public transportation – tram, trolleybus and bus.
Public transport operates between 5:30 and 23:30. Timetables, fares and purchase information are available in Latvian and English at www.rigassatiksme.lv.
It can be used for 90 minutes, with the option to travel on any tram, trolleybus or bus route (a ticket must be registered each time another public transport vehicle (tram, trolleybus, bus) is entered). Registration of the last ticket can be made in the 89th minute from the first registration and is valid up to the final stop.

There is also a code ticket, which allows to make payments for the trips with a smartphone in online mode. In order to use the code ticket, the customers will have to install a mobile application on their smartphones (the download link here).
Bus route No 22 , which travels on the route "Riga" airport to the city center, is the only route where the ticket can also be bought from the transport vehicle driver. Payment for the ticket is with a bank payment card only, ticket price - 2€.
On bus route No.22, it is also possible to use the other types of tickets which can be bought in advance at kiosks or ticket machines.
If going to the center by Bus No.22, we suggest to gett off at the stop "Autoosta".
The hotel will be 1,1km.away, which is ~16min.walk.
Or you can change the bus at "11.novembra krastmala" stop to Bus No.3 and get off at the stop "Brīvības Bulvāris". The hotel will be 350m. away, which is ~5min.walk
Taxis licensed to operate at Riga Airport guarantee high quality service and a transparent pricing policy. They can be hired only on the carriageway which is located immediately at the exit from the arrivals hall. Other taxi carriers also provide services in the Airport area; it is also possible to hire a taxi using one of the mobile apps. «www.bolt.eu» is the most commonly used app for taxi rides in Riga and it offers the best prices.
A ride from the Airport to the city center, depending on the traffic intensity, takes an average of 20 minutes. Ride cost ~20EUR.
